Children’s Day at West Hongqiao Campus

On June 1, children and parents from MSS West Hongqiao campus came to the school in traditional costumes and had a great day. This June 1 Community Day offered a wealth of traditional cultural game booths and folklore experience activities. Fan dyeing, pottery, pot throwing, archery, straw weaving, sugar painting, movie watching and charity sales… children were so focused in the both the quiet and active activities, discovering wonderful things in traditional culture and having fun on their June 1st. They enjoyed their time knowing the traditional elements at each booth, and passed on the community culture of friendship and love to every parent and child participating in the activities.

Children’s Day at Xuhui Campus

Under the theme of Don’t Hold Back and Pass Love Around, Xuhui campus held its June 1 Charity Community Day Carnival! The event included a charity market, a Montessori class experience, and a performance show, etc. The campus was warm and welcoming after being set up carefully by the school’s teachers and staff ! We also invited parents to participate in the event, so that families could meet each other through the charity events and have their unique parent-child experience. Children also had the opportunity to enrich their life experience and develop their sense of social responsibility through charitable deeds!

Children’s Day at Minhang Campus

In the June 1 themed activities of Minhang campus, the school prepared many activities that children love, including face painting, non-heritage water topiary scarves, colorful cotton candy, art sand painting, music experience, dopamine balloons, colorful fun run…… These series of activities are all related to color, reflecting Montessori’s philosophy of pluralism and inclusiveness, and letting children feel the vitality and charm of color! There were also wonderful band performances and magic shows, in which the children were amazed and had great fun!
