What does a happy childhood look like?
Perhaps everyone has a different answer in mind.
At MSS, childhood is full of security, respect and understanding.
Children gain confidence from the joy of learning and experience nature from the freedom of playing.

Feeling Safe
Montessori classes are mixed age groups.
In the classroom, children can work independently and in small groups guided by older students.
With such leadership, the younger students gain a sense of security and belonging in the class community.

The younger ones enjoy playing with older children and imitating each other. The young students teach understanding and compassion.
Gradually, children grow up and they too will establish their own leadership.
At MSS, this leadership and companionship are passed from one generation to the next.

Respect
Respect is fundamental in Montessori Education.
I respect you, you respect me, and we respect each other.
Respect is the elegance and etiquette of Montessori Education.

To speak to someone, we speak softly and quietly.
If we want to ask a question, we can gently walk over and tap the person on the shoulder ……

Not only do we respect each other, but we also respect children and at MSS, children respect their environment.
When working with Montessori materials, we hold them gently and put them back where they belong.
When caring for flowers and plants, we observe and take care.
The concept of respect runs through the whole campus at MSS.

Self-Confidence
Whether a person is confident or not stems from whether they recognize who they are.
Where do you get the power to recognize yourself?
At MSS, children gain self-confidence from taking care of each other: I am capable and can help others.

From learning in a Montessori environment, children’s self-confidence develops uniquely.
When a child works with Montessori materials and completes them successfully, they feel a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, which builds self-confidence.
So that’s what we’ve been saying – Montessori materials have a unique way of being used, and each has its purpose.

Confidence starts with the little things.
Children learn to make choices and develop good work habits. They are independent in their work and believe they know what to do.
The persimmon on the tree is ripe and ready to be picked.
From the little things, children become more and more confident.

Happiness
Each child’s personality is different, but at MSS, the children get along well and make good friends.
In an atmosphere full of order, each child can find their point of interest and gain inner peace and comfort.

Order is being good to people and having a beginning and an end.
Inner peace means we understand the unique personality of each child. They learn and grow at their pace and follow their interests. They have inner strength and confidence.

So, what exactly is happiness?
It seems that it is an abstract term. But a child’s world is pure and does not lie about how to feel happiness.

If sad, they pout and cry.
If happy, they smile, laugh and hug.
Or perhaps, they will not do any of these things, instead expressing themselves uniquely.

Happiness is precious.
When it comes, feel it and enjoy it!
At MSS, we guard the happiness of the children.
