Time has swiftly passed, and in the blink of an eye, this academic year is drawing to a close.

The myriad moments of the children’s initial days, when they first arrived, seem as if they were just yesterday. And now, they stand clad in graduation attire, ready to embrace their first-ever graduation ceremony, a significant milestone in their young lives.

In their earlier days, they were innocent and naive. However, through their time spent living and learning in the MSS Montessori environment, they have made remarkable progress in various aspects such as concentration, hands-on ability, self-care skills, language proficiency, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, emotional expression, social skills, and more.

The children have created indelible memories during their time at MSS, and now, at the graduation ceremony, they are on the brink of putting a fulfilling end to this journey. Simultaneously, they are preparing to step into different primary schools, venturing into larger stages, embarking on a brand new phase of life…

Perhaps parents find it difficult to believe how swiftly their children have grown. The teachers at MSS share the same sentiment. Although the children are about to graduate, every minute and second spent together will forever remain etched in the teachers’ hearts.

Graduation Highlights at MSS West Hongqiao Campus                       

The teachers at MSS West Hongqiao Campus organized an equally spectacular graduation ceremony, radiating their joy and pride in the children’s growth.

The principal delivered a speech, reminiscing about the small moments shared with the children day in and day out, and congratulating them on stepping into a new phase of life.

Parent representatives took the stage one by one, expressing gratitude to MSS West Hongqiao Campus for their support and assistance to the children. They also expressed appreciation for MSS’s commitment to holistic education and the unwavering implementation of the “child-centered” philosophy in Montessori education.

Following that, the principal and teachers awarded graduation certificates to the children, extending their congratulations on successfully completing this chapter!

Finally, teachers, parents, and children gathered outdoors for a balloon release ceremony, symbolizing their aspirations for the children to soar higher and farther, surrounded by heartfelt blessings!

Graduation Highlights at MSS Xuhui Campus

The graduation ceremony at MSS Xuhui Campus commenced in a lighthearted and joyous atmosphere!

The event began with a Chinese choir performance and an English program presented by the graduating class, as the children celebrated this special day in their own unique way.

Then, the graduates presented their impressive talents through individual performances, demonstrating their comprehensive development.

The principal delivered a speech, reviewing the children’s progress and growth at MSS Xuhui Campus throughout the academic year, expressing pride in each and every child. At the same time, the principal also expressed gratitude to parents for their support and trust in the school.

The principal and teachers then awarded graduation certificates to the graduates, each one brimming with joy.

Montessori teachers and Chinese teachers took turns delivering speeches, thanking parents for actively participating in various school activities and contributing positively to school-home communication and the dissemination of Montessori principles.

The two toddler classese also had lovely promotion ceremony, which was also equally important graduation for the children!

Finally, everyone took a group photo, capturing precious and beautiful memories!

Graduation Highlights at MSS Minhang Campus

The graduation ceremony for MSS Minhang Campus was held at C3M North Bund Art Museum. The atmosphere was carefully crafted, blending Eastern and Western elements, providing parents and children with a diverse experience.

At the graduation ceremony, the principal and the Montessori Academic Coordinator gave speeches to congratulate the children on their graduation!

During the ceremony, teachers thoughtfully prepared a video reflecting the children’s growth, vividly bringing back memories of their past. Music performances, singing, poetry recitations… On the stage, the children joyfully sang and expressed themselves, showcasing their confidence and vitality.

The parents applauded and cheered for the children’s wonderful performance!

Subsequently, we presented the children with their graduation certificates, congratulating them on their graduation!

As the ceremony came to a close, the children engaged in a pottery art activity, personally creating commemorative ceramics as a special graduation gift for themselves.

Something to Say in the End

Seeing how the children have grown rapidly and excelled under the influence of Montessori education, we feel proud of them. Witnessing their confident expression fills us with inspiration.

Saying goodbye does not mean it’s the end.
