On this sunny day of March 28th, MSS Minhang Campus held a unique Career Day! Doctors, scientists, archaeologists, pastry chefs, firefighters, game designers, shadow puppet artists…parents and children had the chance to experience immersive and fantastic interaction with various jobs.

At MSS, we don’t have any standard textbooks. Instead of plain lectures, we resort to rich and real-life activities to help children understand careers. Through activities like the Career Day, MSS hopes to broaden children’s horizon, guide them to respect the diversity of careers, and unleash their innate curiosity and interests by experiencing familiar professions in daily life.

As a classic Montessori quote goes: “I see and I forget. I hear and I remember. I do and I understand.” In real-life environment, children can observe how professional people work. We encourage children to get hands-on experience and truly appreciate the effort and dedication people put into their careers. Moreover, children have the opportunity to experience the joy of hands-on activities, thereby building confidence and a sense of achievement.
