As time goes by, MSS is once again having its annual School Fair. We invited a number of Shanghai’s leading international and bilingual elementary schools to the MSS campuses to provide information to MSS graduating families to learn more about their elementary choices.

Founded nearly 20 years ago, as a level 10 accredited school of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and a benchmark of Montessori education in China, MSS has always been committed to providing a wealth of campus services to meet the diverse educational needs of our families. “Families of our graduates have always spent a lot of time and energy to find the right school for their children. In addition to the existing services, MSS has made a breakthrough and become the first kindergarten in the industry to organize the “Joint School Fair”, providing parents with the opportunity to contact and learn about their preferred schools in one visit, which greatly saves the energy of choosing a school and improves the efficiency of the decision-making process.

Each year, our joint school fair is held in December. This year, in 2023, was the first school fair after the COVID. We saw a record number of participating families and exhibiting schools on site.

Because of MSS’s experience in organizing joint campus fairs, which have been well received by parents and participating schools, MSS Campus Fairs have become well known in the industry, and this year’s Campus Fairs doubled in size from last year’s event, attracting even more participating schools. These schools are all well-known bilingual and international schools in Shanghai, which many MSS parents have heard before and are interested to learn more about.

At the event, detailed booklets and posters about each school are available at their respective booth. Parents could have a close and in-depth communication with the schools, and the teachers responded the questions from the parents. It had a very nice atmosphere.Through face-to-face interaction, parents can more intuitively understand the school’s philosophy, curriculum, faculty and other information, providing a more comprehensive reference when they are considering about their children’s development in the future.

Families of MSS graduates are great prospective students for exhibiting schools. To date, many MSS graduates have moved up to these schools and are starting a new journey of learning and growth.

The School Fair was greatly welcomed by MSS parents. Many parents said that the Fair provided them with a more convenient and comprehensive channel of consultation on ECE and gave them a clearer understanding of their children’s future education.

Meanwhile, the participating schools also highly recognized the School Fair. As MSS has had a large number of graduates entering these schools in previous years, the schools are giving us the feedback that MSS graduates have been doing well at the elementary level and excel in various aspects such as learning habits, level of concentration, independence, autonomy, motivation, social skills, problem-solving skills, and confidence, and that they have gained more growth and achievements in their elementary school life. The exhibiting schools responded that they want to continue participating in the MSS School Fair next year to help every family find the school of their choice.

As a benchmark in the domestic Montessori sector, MSS has always been adhering to the original intention of providing quality Montessori education environment and services for families and children. We believe that through communication and cooperation with the participating schools, we will not only provide more abundant educational resources for parents to choose, but also better meet the needs of families for diversified education and provide a broader stage for the future development of children.
